Tyler Jones is a voice teacher and actor based in New York City specializing in singing instruction for professional and pre-professional vocalists across Broadway, pop/rock, film, and television. His clients include Tony and Emmy winners, TV stars, singer-songwriters, and emerging artists. Tyler focuses on helping singers develop their most authentic sound with strong technical foundations for sustainable careers.
He served as Production Vocal Coach for Hulu’s musical series Up Here and has led masterclasses for the Musical Theatre department at the University of Michigan. Tyler has a special interest in vocal health and completed a Laryngology Observership at the Sean Parker Institute for the Voice, NYC’s premier clinic for Broadway performers.
A member of Actors’ Equity Association, SAG-AFTRA, and NYSTA, Tyler’s acting credits include The Book of Mormon (Broadway), leading roles at Theatre Under the Stars (Houston), Sacramento Music Circus, Long Wharf Theatre (New Haven), Maltz Jupiter Theatre (Florida), and Connecticut Repertory Theatre. On television, he has appeared in We Crashed (Apple TV) alongside Anne Hathaway, Boardwalk Empire (HBO), and Little America (Apple TV). When not working, Tyler enjoys being “Dad” to his energetic dog, Sadie.
