Tracy Michailidis, originally from Toronto, Canada, has built a versatile career across stage and screen, performing extensively in regional theatres including The Belfry, The Segal, Theatre Calgary, as well as the Charlottetown, Stratford, and Shaw Festivals. Her work spans on and off-Broadway productions, featuring leading roles in major Disney musicals and the creation of original characters in new plays.
In 2019, she toured internationally in Alon Nashmon’s Charlotte, performing across Eastern Europe and Israel. Other notable theatre credits include the U.S. National Tours of Fun Home and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, as well as Lost in Yonkers at Weston Playhouse in Vermont. Tracy has also been featured in Angels in America at Winnipeg Jewish Theatre and in Three Sisters and Into the Woods at the Atlantic Theatre Festival.
Passionate about artist development and nurturing new work, Tracy runs her own teaching studio, mentoring emerging performers and creators. She is a two-time Dora Award nominee, recognized for her performances in Kiss of the Spider Woman (Eclipse Theatre) and Life After (Musical Stage Company/CanStage/Yonge Street Theatricals), winning the award for the latter. Tracy continues to balance a vibrant career as a performer, educator, and advocate for new theatrical voices.
