Shaun Anthony was born and raised in Los Angeles and is now based in New York City. He holds an MFA from the Juilliard School (Group 49) and a BFA from Southern Methodist University, and spent a summer training at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford. Shaun has worked professionally on both coasts in television and theater. His screen credits include The Blacklist, FBI: Most Wanted, For Life, and The Good Fight. On stage, he has appeared at Berkshire Theatre Group (Photograph 51, directed by David Auburn), Capital Repertory Theatre, HERE Arts Center, the Geffen Playhouse, Ensemble Theatre Company, the Colony Theatre, Circle X Theatre Co., A Noise Within, Shakespeare
Orange County, Dallas Shakespeare Festival, and Milwaukee Repertory Theater. At MTCA, Shaun focuses on helping students develop auditions that feel specific, grounded, and alive. He is particularly passionate about monologue work and contemporary text, guiding actors to find material that fits them and to build performances rooted in truthful behavior and strong point of view.
