Sammy is a New York City based dancer, singer, and actor. Most recently, Sammy was the male swing for the closing company of Disney’s Frozen First National Tour, covering nine tracks. Other recent credits include Gregory Gardner in the Goodspeed Opera House premiere of A Chorus Line directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Baayork Lee, Rob Ruggiero and Parker Esse. Select regional credits include: All Shook Up at The Muny, Billy Lawlor in 42nd Street at Music Theatre Wichita (original Gower Champion/ Randy Skinner choreography), Fiddler on the Roof at ACT of CT, and the inaugural production of A Chorus Line to open the new Rouse Theatre at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
Sammy received his BFA in Musical Theater from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM), where he was the recipient of the Cope Family Award, served as teaching assistant to Diane Lala in the program’s jazz curriculum, and directed and choreographed the mainstage student production of Into the Woods. He is a member of Link Class 2 at The Growing Studio.
