Samantha Massell is a New York based actress, singer, writer, and filmmaker who has appeared on Broadway, on television, in movies, in the cabaret scene, and in a variety of commercials. She was last seen on Broadway as Hodel in the acclaimed revival of Fiddler on the Roof. On the small screen, Samantha is currently recurring on Doc, has recurred on Dynasty, Mr. Mercedes, and Chicago Fire, and guest starred on NCIS: New Orleans, The Good Fight, and Elementary. Samantha has originated starring roles in many world premiere musicals including Vera Simpson in Chez Joey at Arena Stage (directed by Tony Goldwyn and Savion Glover), Rosalind Franklin in Double Helix at Bay Street Theater, Rebecca in the lauded reviSal of Rags at The Goodspeed Opera (Connecticut Critics Circle Award – Best Actress), Karla in The Flamingo Kid at Hartford Stage, and Florika in Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame at La Jolla Playhouse and Paper Mill Playhouse. Samantha recently completed production on her debut short film Stop to Stop, which she wrote, co-directed, produced, and starred in.
