Rivka Rivera is a Jew-Yo-Rican actress, writer, and producer born and raised in New York City, where she got her start performing and attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She went on to graduate with honors from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Acting, where she was awarded the Helen Wayne Rauh Award for Excellence in Acting.

As an actress, Rivka has shared the screen with Cuba Gooding Jr. in Firelight (ABC/Hallmark), appeared in the sci-fi cult favorite The Circle (Netflix), and most recently starred in The Same Storm directed by Peter Hedges. She also produced and stars in the viral web series Abandon All Hope. Her stage work includes performances with Irondale Ensemble Project, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Dixon Place, LAByrinth Theater Company, Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre, and more.

Rivka brings that same rigor, fearlessness, and individuality into the coaching room. Known for helping students uncover bold, deeply authentic performances, she pushes young actors toward work that is specific, alive, and impossible to ignore. Her coaching combines high-level conservatory training with real industry experience, while creating a room where students feel challenged, confident, and fully themselves.
