Rhyn McLemore, born and raised on Jekyll Island, Georgia, and has over 20 years of professional acting experience. Off-Broadway credits include Dot (The Billie Holiday Theatre, directed by Kenny Leon) and Sheldon Harnick’s A World to Win (York Theatre). Off-Off Broadway roles include Violet in Violet and The Crucible (Gallery Players). Atlanta credits feature world premieres and nominated performances in Darlin’ Cory (Alliance Theatre), Ever After (Suzi Award nomination), The Incredible Book Eating Boy (world premiere), A Christmas Carol (Alliance Theatre), The Humans and Safety Net (Theatrical Outfit), Roe (Suzi Award nomination), The Cake (Horizon Theatre), Fun Home, Stupid F’ing Bird, and Company (Actor’s Express), Cinderella, The Bridges of Madison County, and Split in Three (Aurora Theatre), and Dot (Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company).

Regional theatre credits include Maria in The Sound of Music (Sierra Repertory Theatre), The Spitfire Grill (Cape Fear Regional Theatre), A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Our Town (West Virginia Public Theatre), The Crucible and The Comedy of Errors (North Carolina Shakespeare Festival), Humbug (Premiere Stages), Beauty and the Beast and Grease (Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre), and Ragtime and Hair (Weathervane Theatre).

Rhyn is on the educational staff at Alliance Theatre, where she teaches an ongoing Acting the Song class for working professionals. She also works with American Voices, a nonprofit dedicated to cross-cultural engagement in over 110 countries worldwide.
