Randy Redd made his Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning musical Parade (Broadway). He appeared as Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet (Broadway) and originated roles in Ring of Fire (Broadway), Terrence McNally’s Some Men (Broadway), Miller & Tysen’s The Burnt Part Boys (Broadway), Max Vernon’s The View UpStairs (Broadway), Alan Boublil’s Manhattan Parisienne (Broadway), and the American premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s By Jeeves (Broadway).

Other theatre credits include Randy Newman’s Faust, Lucky Stiff, Pump Boys & Dinettes (New York City Center), Smoke on the Mountain, and Allegro (Classic Stage Company, New York), directed by John Doyle.

Film and television appearances include Beautiful Creatures (Lionsgate, 2013), The Last Five Years (Lionsgate, 2014), After the Storm (2016), Kinsey (Focus Features, 2004), From Broadway with Love (PBS), The Wright Verdicts (CBS), and The Tony Awards (CBS).

His writing credits include the musicals Mississippi Sugar, Sons of Levi, What’s That Smell?, Elkin Dab, Touché, Dan Mills’ Fiction In Photographs, the children’s television series You Be You, and the limited television series American Tune.

Randy’s recordings include Wearing Someone Else’s Clothes with Jason Robert Brown, The Burnt Part Boys, Ring of Fire, Lucky Stiff, Parade, The View UpStairs, NEO, House of Love, Songs from a Failed Play, and ShowFolk with longtime collaborator Rachel Bay Jones. He has taught and coached at CAP21, NYU, Molloy College, and Broadway Workshop.
