Rachael Swartz is an experienced actor, director, and educator with a diverse background in theatre and on-camera work. She has spent eight years as a college professor of musical theatre, serving as a program coordinator and leading recruitment efforts. Each summer, she joins the Acting and Musical Theatre faculty at Interlochen Center for the Arts, nurturing the next generation of performers. She is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
Her recent regional theatre credits include multiple roles—Annabella/Pamela/Margaret in The 39 Steps; Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music; Nurse in Romeo and Juliet; and a featured role in The Comedy of Errors at the Interlochen Shakespeare Festival. These performances highlight her versatility across classical and musical theatre.
On screen, Rachael has appeared in projects for the Travel Channel, Investigation Discovery, Oxygen, and TV One, demonstrating her range beyond the stage. Her experience as a director and educator complements her acting career, bringing depth and insight to her artistic endeavors.
Rachael is dedicated to fostering artistic growth both in the classroom and on stage, combining her performance expertise with a passion for mentorship and collaboration. She is committed to cultivating vibrant theatrical communities and inspiring creativity in every project she undertakes.
