Originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas, Lee graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in musical theatre. She just completed a run starring as Corie Bratter in Barefoot in the Park at the Geva Theatre. And she is so thrilled to be returning to Pittsburgh this summer to star as Cynthia Weil in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at PCLO. She can be seen in Richard Linklater’s Where’d You Go Bernadette opposite Cate Blanchett and Last Flag Flying opposite Bryan Cranston. TV: Gone (NBC).
Lee has been writing and developing her solo play Jellybean, since college. She has performed the piece at Carnegie Mellon, the PIT, Theatre Row, The Fringe Festival and most recently at the Irondale Ensemble Project. Jellybean was most recently directed by Daniel Jenkins (Big River, Oslo).
