Katie has been coaching with MTCA since 2013 and is a teaching artist with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival’s Education Program. She has appeared in ten seasons with HVSF, playing roles such as Viola in Twelfth Night, Imogen in Cymbeline, Lucrece in The Liar, Rosaline in Love’s Labour’s Lost, and Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She also portrayed Olivia in Twelfth Night, Lord Capulet and Lady Macbeth in Youth & Ambition, and Leena Breitwisch in the world premiere of Breitwisch Farm (Esperance Theater Company, NYC), which she co-founded.
Her Off-Broadway credits include Bedlam. Regional theatre credits include American Repertory Theater, Virginia Stage Company, Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, Cape Playhouse, Half Moon Theater, Arc Stages, Portland Stage, Shadowland, and Epic Theatre Ensemble.
On screen, Katie has appeared in Succession (HBO), FBI: Most Wanted (CBS), The Blacklist (NBC), Law & Order: SVU (NBC), Boardwalk Empire (HBO), Lost Nation, I’ll Be Right There, and Bedlam: The Series. She has also performed in numerous commercials and voice-over roles.
Katie resides in New York City with her husband and fellow MTCA coach Ryan, and their daughter Zoë. She is passionate about balancing her careers as an artist, teacher, and mother.
