Katie Grogg is a singer, actor, and teaching artist with extensive performance experience, particularly on cruise lines. She notably originated the role of Elsa in Frozen on the Disney Fantasy and was part of the inaugural cast of the Disney Wish (Disney Cruise Line). Her time at sea allowed her to develop versatility and stamina while performing for diverse audiences worldwide. Since returning to New York City, Katie has continued to study and perform throughout the city’s vibrant theatre scene.

Katie is passionate about helping students hone their unique and individual sound through a personalized approach. Using her analytical and puzzle-solving mindset, Katie helps singers piece together the mechanics of their instrument to find efficiency, freedom, and ease in their voice. She strongly believes that storytelling is at the heart of every vocal performance and coaches her students to approach each piece through an acting lens, allowing the truth of the story to inform their vocal choices and bring authenticity to their singing.

As a dedicated educator, Katie is committed to fostering confidence and artistry in her students, helping them develop the technical skills and emotional connection necessary for compelling performance.
