Jordan Matthew Brown is a New York–based actor from Cleveland, Ohio. He is best known for playing Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon (Broadway and U.S. National Tour), earning the “Touring Performance of the Year” award in Los Angeles for his portrayal.
Upcoming, he will play Dennis in All Shook Up at Goodspeed Opera House (East Haddam, CT). His recent theatre credits include Role in As Time Goes By (Out of the Box Theatrics, Off-Broadway), Motel in Fiddler on the Roof (North Shore Music Theatre, Beverly, MA), Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Kansas City Repertory Theatre), William Barfée in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (George Street Playhouse, New Brunswick, NJ), and Jack in Into the Woods in concert alongside Betsy Wolfe and Tony Yazbeck.
Jordan is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. He received the Bette Davis Prize for Excellence in Acting and was a founding member of Boston University’s Musical Theatre concentration. He also studied at the National Music Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.
Jordan is passionate about mentoring emerging artists and is excited to be part of the MTCA family, helping students embrace their next chapter with joy and skill.
