Jordan Matthew Brown is a New York based Broadway actor hailing from Cleveland, Ohio. He is most well known for playing Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon on the National Tour, as well as standing by for the role on Broadway. He won the award for “Touring Performance of the Year” in LA for his portrayal of Elder Cunningham. His most recent credits include Motel in Fiddler on the Roof (North Shore Music Theatre), Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Kansas City Rep), William Barfée in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (George Street Playhouse), and Jack in Into the Woods in concert alongside Betsy Wolfe and Tony Yazbeck. Jordan is a proud graduate of Boston University, where he received his BFA in Acting. He was also a founding class member of BU’s concentration in Musical Theatre. Upon graduation he was awarded the Bette Davis Prize for Excellence in Acting. Additionally, he spent a semester studying Musical Theatre with the National Music Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. Jordan is thrilled to be a part of the MTCA family and to help every student joyfully and skillfully step into this next exciting chapter! @jordanmatthewbrown www.jordanmatthewbrown.com
