Jordan Matthew Brown is a New York based Broadway actor hailing from Cleveland, Ohio. He is most well known for playing Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon on Broadway as well as on the National Tour. He won the award for “Touring Performance of the Year” in LA for his portrayal of Elder Cunningham.

He most recently played the title role in the Off-Broadway production of Zack with the Mint Theater, and this past fall played Jack in the viral site-specific production of Into the Woods in the (actual) woods of Staten Island. Other recent credits include the Dennis in All Shook Up (Goodspeed Opera House), the Off-Broadway premiere of As Time Goes By (Out of the Box Theatrics), Motel in Fiddler on the Roof (North Shore Music Theatre), Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Kansas City Rep), William Barfée in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (George Street Playhouse), and Jack in Into the Woods in concert alongside Betsy Wolfe and Tony Yazbeck.
Jordan is a proud graduate of Boston University, where he received his BFA in Acting. He was also a founding class member of BU’s concentration in Musical Theatre. Upon graduation he was awarded the Bette Davis Prize for Excellence in Acting. Additionally, he spent a semester studying Musical Theatre with the National Music Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. Jordan is thrilled to be a part of the MTCA family and to help every student joyfully and skillfully step into this next exciting chapter! @jordanmatthewbrown www.jordanmatthewbrown.com
