Joe Carroll has been a proud teacher with MTCA for nearly a decade, helping guide the next generation of performers toward their artistic goals. On Broadway, he has starred as Hans in Frozen (Broadway), Johnny Simpson in Bandstand (Broadway), Prince Topher in Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Broadway), and appeared in Romeo and Juliet (Broadway) and Once (Broadway).

He originated the role of Christian in the world premiere of Moulin Rouge! (Colonial Theatre, Boston), and appeared as Johnny Simpson in Bandstand (Paper Mill Playhouse, Millburn).

His film credits include Late Night (Amazon Studios, 2019), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival; Bandstand: Live on Broadway (BroadwayHD, 2018); and Romeo and Juliet (BroadwayHD, 2014).

Television credits include Pose (FX), The Politician (Netflix), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon Prime Video), FBI (CBS), NCIS: New Orleans (CBS), Chicago Fire (NBC), Elementary (CBS), Deception (ABC), The Carrie Diaries (The CW), and All My Children (ABC). Joe is also a dedicated voice and acting coach, bringing his extensive stage and screen experience into every session. He continues to develop new work as both an actor and mentor.
