Born in London and raised in Los Angeles, Francesca Carpanini is an actress and producer based in New York. While still a student at Juilliard, she made her professional debut as Miranda in The Tempest at Shakespeare in the Park. She has since starred on Broadway in the Tony-nominated revivals of The Little Foxes, alongside Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon, and All My Sons with Annette Benning and Tracy Letts. Other theatre credits include This Beautiful Future (Cherry Lane), Dead Poets Society (Classic Stage Company), Nina (Theaterlab), and Black Flag (59E59). She also works frequently in London where she starred in the revival of David Mamet’s The Woods at Southwark Playhouse. TV and Film credits include Kathryn Bigelow’s House of Dynamite and The Good Wife. She will next be seen in an upcoming series for Disney+.

She has worked on readings of both plays and musicals with Williamstown Theatre Festival, Roundabout Theatre Company, McCarter Theatre Center and directors including Moises Kaufman, Jonathan Munby, Emily Mann, Anne Kauffman, and Leigh Silverman.

As a producer, Francesca recently presented the premiere of Forrest Malloy’s new play Nina which played an extended, sold out run at Theaterlab and received rave reviews from The New York Times and New York magazine, among others.
