Curtis Reynolds is a music director, singing actor, and voice teacher based in Omaha, Nebraska, where he serves as Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at Creighton University. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Vocal Pedagogy from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance (Musical Theatre) from New York University. Curtis recently taught in the inaugural year of the Musical Theatre degree program at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. He is dedicated to empowering singers to discover their most efficient, authentic voices and to develop sustainable vocal habits.

His professional credits as a music director and actor include Spamilton: An American Parody (First National Tour), Murder For Two (Clinton Showboat Theatre and Farmers Alley Theatre, Michigan), Chicago (Cabrillo Stage, California), and Evita (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, South Carolina). Curtis has a strong background in new work development and has music directed numerous concerts and workshops in New York City at venues including Lincoln Center, Feinstein’s/54 Below, Don’t Tell Mama, New York Theatre Workshop, and The WorkShop Theater.

With extensive experience both onstage and behind the piano, Curtis brings a collaborative, artist-centered approach to his teaching and directing. He is passionate about supporting artists at all levels to achieve technical excellence and artistic expression.
