Chrissy Aloisio is a Jersey City based singer, voice teacher, and music director with over a decade of teaching and professional performing experience in classical, musical theatre, and contemporary commercial music. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Delaware and has taught voice for more than a decade both with her own private studio as well as at Gateway to the Arts, a performing arts studio specializing in musical theatre training and Tim Welch Vocal Studio.
As a performer, Chrissy served as the music director and choreographer for the internationally touring contemporary a cappella group Backtrack Vocals. With Backtrack, she has appeared on HBO as the featured soloist in the series finale of “PAUSE with Sam Jay”, and has been seen on NBC alongside comedian all-stars Tiffany Haddish, Nikki Glaser, Aubrey Plaza, and more. She has also toured the US and abroad, performing at prominent performing arts centers, corporate events, private events, schools and music festivals. Her performance credits also include Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Europa Park in Germany, ADM Talent wedding bands, and various cabaret productions in New York City.
Chrissy’s private students have been accepted to high school performing arts programs as well as vocal performance, musical theatre, and music education collegiate programs.
