Cayel hails from Orem, Utah, and is a New York City based dancer, actor, choreographer, and educator
As a performer he was most recently seen in the pre-Broadway industry workshops of Get Happy starring Corbin Bleu and The Griswolds’ Broadway Vacation. He has danced on countless stages throughout the country while on the First National Tour of Hello, Dolly! and in regional houses such as, Goodspeed Opera House, The Muny, Sacramento Music Circus, 5th Avenue Theatre, MTWichita, Riverside Theatre, and Walt Disney World. While in Florida he was also a Principle dancer with Vincent Sanrocco Dance Company, and Dance Theatre of Orlando.
Cayel started his training at three years old at his grandmother’s dance studio. His studies continued at Salt Lake City’s Ballet West before attending Brigham Young University, where he also taught beginning and intermediate jazz. He has a deep love and passion for training, and for guiding young performers to find movement that allows them to best express themselves.
