Cayel is a New York City–based dancer, actor, choreographer, and educator originally from Orem, Utah. He was most recently seen in the pre-Broadway industry workshops of Get Happy starring Corbin Bleu and The Griswolds’ Broadway Vacation.
As a performer, Cayel toured nationally as a dancer in the First National Tour of Hello, Dolly!. His regional theatre credits include Goodspeed Opera House (East Haddam, CT), The Muny (St. Louis, MO), Sacramento Music Circus (Sacramento, CA), 5th Avenue Theatre (Seattle, WA), Music Theatre Wichita (Wichita, KS), Riverside Theatre (Vero Beach, FL), and Walt Disney World (Orlando, FL). In Florida, he was also a principal dancer with Vincent Sanrocco Dance Company and Dance Theatre of Orlando.
Cayel began his training at age three at his grandmother’s dance studio and continued his studies at Ballet West (Salt Lake City, UT). He has a passion for training young performers and helping them find movement that best expresses their artistry.
