Cassie is a teaching artist and multi-hyphenate performer hailing from the Atlanta and Chicago suburbs, and she is elated to be working with MTCA students! Her dance journey began at Northeast Atlanta Ballet and continued on in the competitive dance circuit, earning her scholarships from NYCDA, OSNY, the Rockette Summer Intensive, and Point Park University. She recently toured with the First National company of Hello, Dolly! (starring Betty Buckley and Carolee Carmello), as an Irene Malloy u/s.
Her stage credits span institutions such as The Kennedy Center, 54 Below, the MUNY, Music Theatre Wichita, Tuacahn Amphitheatre, NYMF, the LA Pantages, and more. Some favorite roles include Mary – Mary Poppins, Eileen – Nice Work if You Can Get It, Dorothy – Thoroughly Modern Millie, Cassie – A Chorus Line, Valentine – The Count of Monte Cristo, as well as many opportunities to dance captain and swing.
Throughout her career, Cassie has had the privilege of collaborating with renowned choreographers such as Warren Carlyle, Kathleen Marshall, Al Blackstone, Nicholas Palmquist, and Peggy Hickey. She is also on the faculty at Ballet Hispanico and The Studio in Connecticut.
