Brian Dillon is a Massachusetts native and proud Boston Conservatory of Music alumnus. He was most recently seen on Broadway in Disney’s long-running hit, Aladdin, where he was a swing and understudy covering 12 ensemble members and 2 principal roles (Iago and Omar). Before touring the country with the first national tour of Aladdin, Brian performed in many productions of A Chorus Line, both on tour and regionally. Having learned the show from original Broadway company member and iconic Tony Award Winner, Baayork Lee, he had the distinct honor of setting the show as Choreographer at Westchester Broadway Theatre in 2018.
Other stage credits include Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame (regional premiere at Ogunquit Playhouse) and Mamma Mia! He has also been a dance captain, swing, and guest choreographer on board Disney Cruise Line.
On screen, he has appeared in the series finale of the hit FX show, Pose, as well as a national commercial for an HR company as his first time playing a Dad, officially ticking his playable-age-range up a few notches…
His choreography credits include A Chorus Line, Candide, The Wedding Singer, The Drowsy Chaperone, Spring Awakening, And The World Goes Round, Fame, A Year With Frog & Toad, and Singin’ in the Rain.
Brian’s parallel calling as a musical theater educator for young artists has rewarded him with enriching teaching opportunities at: The Boston Conservatory (Assistant Professor of Musical Theater Dance & Mainstage Choreographer), Walnut Hill School of the Arts, Boston Children’s Theatre, The Barnstormers Theatre, The Governor’s Academy, StageWorks & Vanguard Theater in NJ, and numerous local dance studios all over the map (and over Zoom!). For the last two years, Brian has served as the Dance Adjudicator for Idaho’s Patty Duke Awards, Boise’s pre-Jimmy Awards program.
He loves fostering the next generation of musical theater professionals, loves dancing, corny jokes and puns, chips and salsa, and lives in a log cabin in northern New Jersey affectionately named “Fern Gully”.
