Originally from Newton, Massachusetts, Anya is an actor based in Brooklyn, NY. Most recently, Anya was part of the Caryl Churchill plays Glass. Kill. What If If Only. Imp at The Public Theater (swing for Niamh / Glass Girl / Future). This North American Premiere was directed by James Macdonald and was a New York Times Critic’s Pick. Other recent credits include Ophelia in Hamlet at The Guthrie Theater (Broadway World Award, Best Supporting Performer) and Hana in the World Premiere / National Tour of Odyssey, written and directed by Lisa Peterson. Select regional: Williamstown Theatre Festival (Alison in the Original Workshop Production of Blue Ridge by Abby Rosebrock), Barrington Stage Company, Berkshire Theatre Group, and Gulfshore Playhouse.

On TV, Anya has appeared multiple times on NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU”, as well as in CBS’ “FBI: International”, which she filmed in Budapest, Hungary. Film: Pizza Party, Souvenir Drunk and What the Water Took (upcoming).

Anya received her MFA in Acting from The Juilliard School and graduated summa cum laude; Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College of Columbia University.

Outside of acting, Anya enjoys traveling, running and finding the best Szechuan food in New York City.
