Anne L. Nathan has appeared on Broadway as Mrs. Strakosh in Funny Girl, Aunt Sheila/Mimsy in It Shoulda Been You, Baruska in Once (also A.R.T. and NYTW), Nurse/Mrs./Harriet in Sunday in the Park with George (Roundabout), Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago, Emma Goldman in Assassins, Miss Flannery in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and in Ragtime.

Off-Broadway, she has been seen in Sing Street (New York Theatre Workshop), Broadway Bounty Hunter (Joe Iconis), Sun Down Yellow Moon (Ars Nova/Women’s Project), The Taming of the Shrew (The Delacorte/The Public Theater), Wings (Second Stage), Aunt Eva in Road Show (The Public Theater), and Swingtime Canteen.

She has toured nationally with Chicago (Carbonell Award), Les Misérables, and Aspects of Love. Her regional work includes productions at The Huntington Theatre (Boston), McCarter Theatre (Princeton), Kansas City Repertory Theatre, George Street Playhouse (New Brunswick), Asolo Repertory Theatre (Sarasota), Barrington Stage Company (Pittsfield), La Jolla Playhouse (San Diego), and Alabama Shakespeare Festival (Montgomery).

On screen, her credits include You Must Be Joking, Baby Mama (Universal, 2008), King of California (First Look, 2007), Fleishman Is in Trouble (FX/Hulu), Little America (Apple TV+), Elementary (CBS), The Good Wife (CBS), Dirt (FX), and Law & Order (NBC – Trial by Jury, Special Victims Unit, and Criminal Intent), as well as appearances in Veronica Mars (UPN), What I Like About You (WB), and Bull (CBS). She has also appeared on three Tony Award telecasts, Late Show with David Letterman, America’s Got Talent, The Today Show, and The Rosie O’Donnell Show.
