Jordan Matthew Brown is a New York based Broadway actor hailing from Cleveland, Ohio. He is most well known for playing Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon on Broadway as well as on the National Tour. He won the award for “Touring Performance of the Year” in LA for his portrayal of Elder Cunningham. Currently, he is gearing up to play Dennis in All Shook Up at Goodspeed Opera House this summer. His other recent credits include the Off-Broadway premiere of the new play As Time Goes By (Out of the Box Theatrics), Motel in Fiddler on the Roof (North Shore Music Theatre), Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Kansas City Rep), William Barfée in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (George Street Playhouse), and Jack in Into the Woods in concert alongside Betsy Wolfe and Tony Yazbeck. Jordan is a proud graduate of Boston University, where he received his BFA in Acting. He was also a founding class member of BU’s concentration in Musical Theatre. Upon graduation he was awarded the Bette Davis Prize for Excellence in Acting. Additionally, he spent a semester studying Musical Theatre with the National Music Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.
