Cassie is a teaching artist and multi-hyphenate performer hailing from the Atlanta and Chicago suburbs. Her journey into the realm of dance began at Northeast Atlanta Ballet and continued on in the competitive dance circuit, earning her scholarships from NYCDA, OSNY, the Rockette Summer Intensive, and Point Park University. She recently toured with the First National company of Hello, Dolly! (starring Betty Buckley and Carolee Carmello), as an Irene Malloy u/s.
Her stage credits span institutions such as The Kennedy Center, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New World Stages, 54 Below, the MUNY, Music Theatre Wichita, Tuacahn Amphitheatre, NYMF, the LA Pantages, and many more. Formerly faculty at Ballet Hispanico and currently on faculty at The Studio in Connecticut and Interim Dance Collective (where she is a part of the administrative team).
Beyond the stage and studio Cassie is a writer, lover of her electric scooter, and a certified Pilates Mat instructor. www.cassieaustin.com // @classyaustin_
