Danielle is a dance teacher, choreographer, and actor, born, raised, and based in Los Angeles. With an eclectic dance education, she prides herself on being a dancer and teacher of as many genres as possible, including MT, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Contemporary, House, Modern, and various Ballroom styles. Danielle received her BA in Dance from UCLA with a minor in Theater. She has returned to her alma mater as Adjunct Faculty Choreographer in the Theater Department for the last four years, choreographing Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (2025) and Into the Woods (2023), and assistant choreographing Something Rotten (2024) and Pippin (2022). One of Danielle’s favorite annual projects is the UCLA Pre-College Musical Theater Summer Institute for which she has served as choreographer since 2022. Each summer the institute produces a full length musical in three weeks with high schoolers from around the world! Beyond educating at UCLA, Danielle teaches at various dance studios in LA and conducts her own Private studio for students ranging from eight years old to 81!
Danielle can be seen acting in a number of commercials and some films. Her favorite credit is an indie feature Dramarama, a coming-of-age story about drama kids going off to college (sound familiar?!), which is currently streaming on Hulu! Regional theater credits: West Side Story, Young Frankenstein, 42nd Street, and Hello, Dolly!
Danielle has 15 years of teaching experience and she relishes the opportunity to be a part of her students’ creative journeys. She considers teaching dance to be her life’s purpose and coaching with MTCA continues to be an unbelievably rewarding experience. She can’t wait to work with you!
