Originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas, Lee graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in musical theatre. She just completed a run starring as Cynthia Weil at the Pioneer Theatre and will be bringing the production to the Geva Theatre this summer! She can be seen in Richard Linklater’s Where’d You Go Bernadette opposite Cate Blanchett and Last Flag Flying opposite Bryan Cranston. TV: Gone (NBC).
Lee has been writing and developing her solo play Jellybean, since college. She has performed the piece at Carnegie Mellon, the PIT, Theatre Row, The Fringe Festival and most recently at the Irondale Ensemble Project. Jellybean was most recently directed by Daniel Jenkins (Big River, Oslo).
