Lea was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and brings a grounded, dynamic presence to her work on both stage and screen. Her regional theatre highlights include 4,000 Miles (Westport Country Playhouse, Westport, CT); Venus in Fur (Bristol Riverside Theatre, Bristol, PA); Into the Breeches (Gulfshore Playhouse, Naples, FL); Private Lives and Oleanna (Katonah Classic Stage, Katonah, NY); Cyrano de Bergerac, As You Like It, and Into the Woods (Texas Shakespeare Festival, Kilgore, TX); and The Miracle Worker (Judson Theatre Company, New York, NY). Her performances span a wide range of genres and styles, from classical texts to contemporary plays.

On screen, her television credits include appearances on FBI and Hawaii Five-0 (CBS), and her film work includes This Is the Night (Universal Pictures, 2021), starring Naomi Watts.

Lea has been a monologue coach with MTCA since 2018, where she supports students in cultivating authentic, specific, and emotionally connected audition material. Outside of acting and coaching, Lea enjoys surfing, teaching yoga, and continuing her own artistic training. She is passionate about helping performers grow both professionally and personally through a holistic, embodied approach to the craft.
