Katie was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado, where she began her professional career performing throughout the Denver area. Dance was her first love, but she later pivoted to acting.

Now based in New York City, Katie has performed in *All’s Well That Ends Well* (The Public Theater), directed by Daniel Sullivan; *1599* (Irondale), a five-hour production featuring all of Shakespeare’s plays written in that year, performed by a cast of six; *Breitwisch Farm* (Esperance Theater Company), directed by MTCA’s very own Ryan Quinn; and with Roundabout Theatre Company and others.

Regionally, she has appeared across the country in *An Inspector Calls* (Pioneer Theatre Company); *Henry VIII* (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey); *As You Like It*, *The Two Gentlemen of Verona*, *Twelfth Night*, and *All’s Well That Ends Well* (Shakespeare on the Sound); and multiple dance productions with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

Katie began her teaching career as a dance instructor, specializing in tap, jazz, and musical theatre. She now focuses on acting, coaching monologues for prospective college students with MTCA and leading Shakespeare workshops for young artists. She is grateful to have trained with exceptional teachers, coaches, and mentors, and takes great pride in passing that knowledge on to the next generation of artists.
