Alexa Green is best known for her role as Glinda in the Los Angeles and San Francisco companies of Wicked. She appeared alongside Neil Patrick Harris and Patti LuPone in the international cinematic release of Stephen Sondheim’s Company with The New York Philharmonic live from Lincoln Center. Alexa has toured nationally and internationally and appeared regionally in the premiere of Douglas Lyons’s The Moon and The Sea. She has performed as a guest soloist with symphonies across the U.S. and worked in the studio with Grammy-winning producer David Foster on upcoming Broadway projects.
Alexa has been a featured soloist in the Broadway Sings concert series for over a decade and provided background vocals for Cher, Carole King, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and others on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and the 2024 Met Gala. She received critical acclaim for her sold-out solo show A Shining Hour at Feinstein’s/54 Below. Her debut solo album, So Good (Broadway Records), won Best New Solo Recording at the 2016 BroadwayWorld Awards. She was twice nominated in 2020 for Best Debut Show and Best Commercial Recording.
Most recently, Alexa performed her solo show Sun and Show Tunes on The Broadway Cruise alongside Broadway stars including Brian Stokes Mitchell and Annaleigh Ashford. She is a soprano member of the Tony-winning Broadway Inspirational Voices, celebrating their 30th anniversary season.
Alexa is on the voice faculty at Molloy University/CAP21 and Marymount Manhattan College and runs her private studio, Alexa Green VOICE, in New York City. She also is a Vocal Supervisor at Hollow Spirit Studios.
